The Ha Giang Loop is a roughly 350 km (217 mile) multi-day motorbike loop through Vietnam’s northernmost province of Ha Giang, close to the Chinese border. It is known for its mountain passes, windy and narrow roads, drop offs, and rocky cliff sides. Plus its many small villages where Vietnamese ethnic minorities. The Ha Giang loop tour typically begins and ends in the Ha Giang city (Ha Giang Hostel)
To complete the above route, it takes 3 to 4 days, few tourists who do not have much time in Vietnam can choose 2 days for the trip but it will be quite tiring because they will need to travel a distance of about 170 – 180km/day.
The road on the loop is quite small with 2 parallel lanes so it is quite difficult for cars to find a place to stop and another thing is that tourists cannot fully admire the natural beauty of the loop if they sit on a car, so motorbikes are more convenient so most tourists often choose this type of vehicle for the loop trip.
